Set in a post-apocalyptic future where one lone fugitive is trying to save humanity by communicating with the present day, Kirill is a dramatic entertainment format that is delivered across a range of digital platforms.

On September 10th 2008, Vivienne Villars, a journalist for MSN, began blogging about the switch on of the LHC. As Vivienne's investigations, via her blog on Spaces, into leading scientists around the world develop, she realises a strange pattern of ominous coincidences - all of her contacts have disappeared without trace. She decides to piece together a case, with the help of Stu, an online friend, and fellow Spaces blogger.

In a nightmarish future, Kirill finds his first match with a possible messenger in the present day. Her name is Vivienne. We, the public, see a first glimpse of this on October 31st, 2008

Unearthing evidence via CCTV footage, corporate websites and a multitude of articles, photographs and videos and audio, Vivienne's case against a company called Nomi emerges. But this links her inextricably to Kirill, and as their journeys play out across the episodes, blogs and other tools, we come to realise the inevitability of fate. Her life is in his hands, and her death is only the beginning.

Kirill takes the concept of broadcasting high-quality, filmic drama on the internet to a new level, taking a linear series of 10 three-minute episodes and layering it with a host of blogs, images, additional video and audio files peppered around the internet, and secret websites to tell an intricate story of a man, lost in the future, trying to make contact with a young woman in the present to help her save the world.

A gripping sci-fi plot, starring David Schofield (Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, Valkyrie) and Vee Vimolmal (Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Little Britain, The Omen), produced by leading global producer and award-winning digital drama specialist Endemol (Cell, The Gap Year, Get Close To..., Signs of Life), Kirill uses the best that MSN has to offer to create a fully engaging, interactive online drama experience.
